ACADEMIC BLOCK

This is the first view which you will get after entering the institute. You can see in your front the academic block.

TATA HALL

This building is to the left of the place where you are standing - the Tata Hall. It is used as the MDP (Management Development Program) center and official guest house.

BIDHAN CHANDRA MEMORIAL LIBRARY

This is the largest Management Library in India. It comprises of three floors and has a collection of more then 1 lakh volumes. It also subscribes to around 600 journals.

LIBRARY

JUNTA of IIMC can be seen putting MUGGA. The interiors are really great and provide a good ambience for reading in peace. When bored one can view the lake through the windows.

ACADEMIC BLOCK AND LIBRARY

Here you can see the library and the academic block from the other lake. One of the best things on campus are its lakes - there are 13 lakes on campus !! and virtually everywhere.

Here you can view the library from the jetty which is on the lake in the picture above.

OLD HOSTEL

Officially called Ramanujam Hall, Old Hostel is the oldest hostel of the institute. It has four wings out of which one wing is devoted to the fair sex. As such it is the main activity center of all the students. Afterall FEMALES HAVE THEIR HOME HERE !!

There is a lake right in front of OH on which there is a jetty. This photograph has been taken from across that lake.

TAGORE HALL

Also called WHITE HOUSE this is one of the best hostels on campus. This photograph is very old and now an annexe to the hostel has been added called 'PENTAGON' or Tagore Hall Annexe in official parlance. This is undoubetedly the best hostel in IIMC and also my home.

NEW TEACHING BLOCK

Though NTB does not convey its real purpose, this is the place where we guys spend most of our free time as it houses the most valuable resource for us - COMPUTERS with a 24 hour internet connection !!

NTB: INTERIOR

Here you can see people sitting inside the NTB and working. I am also currently sitting over here( the comp on which you can see a guy sitting in blue in second row ) and editing this page.

MANAGEMENT CENTER FOR HUMAN VALUES

MCHV as it is popularly known, is a world class institution. It attracts people from all over the world for ethics. Every IIMCian is proud of it.
